My massage style is a combination of all modalities I have trained in over the years, a fusion of  relaxation, remedial & cupping  techniques are used to allow your body to enter deep rest, remove stagnation & help allow space to open up for healing.

Cupping will not be used if contraindicated or requested not to be used.

Each massage is crafted specifically for you, each time you visit.  An intuitive flowing pressure is used & can be adjusted to your needs.

 

Cupping, hot &/or cold stone therapy are included at no extra charge if that is what the body requires.

Focused, integrative work on your face, upper back, neck, shoulders & scalp.

This treatment is specifically designed to relieve tension & congestion from the shoulders up. 

​

It may be for you if you have sinus problems, headaches, puffiness in the face, TMJ (temporomandibular joint syndrome), skin congestion or neck & shoulder pain.

 

Facial Cupping is not recommended if you have had any facial injections within the last 3 months, any open recent wounds, DVT (deep vein thrombosis), recent sunburnt skin, cold sores or infections skin lesions

Cupping massage has been likened to a nurturing, passive massage, coaxing the muscles & tissues into relaxing.  Almost like a reverse deep tissue massage, the suction & negative pressure provided by cupping encourages blood flow & freshly oxygenated blood to stagnated areas & sedates the nervous system.

I am fully trained in cupping - please note that during your first appointment with me I will use mainly medical grade silicone to see how your body responds. 

Fire cupping will be used for follow up treatments if needed.

Contraindications:

I do not cup during pregnancy,

I do not do 'wet' cupping, I do not cup directly after steroid injections, I do not cup open wounds, I do not cup you if you have blood clots or a history of DVT.

I do not facial cup over acne/sunburn / recently injected skin or ulcers.
